The third-highest mountain of the island. After an accession of approximately 1 hr 30 minutes, you will summit Le Pouce mountain (812mts). The spectacular view onto the North, the capital and the center is breathtaking.

The Macchabée Forest Trail is rich with its fauna and flora, particularly the endemic species such as the Mauritius Parakeet, and other rare birds around. The trail is around 12Km, and we start from Pétrin parking lot to the kiosk of Macchabée.

We provide custom hikes on request, particularly at Ile D’Ambre and Bras D’Eau Nature Trail. Ile D’Ambre is istuated in the North-East of Mauritius, with a fantastic nature trail of around 5Km loop.

Bras D’Eau is located in the East of Mauritius, and is composed of a wonderful nature trail. It is the second largest national park in Mauritius, rich with historic sites as well.

Cancellation Policy

If you should cancel the trip:

-48 hrs before 50% fee will be retained
-24 hrs before 100% fee will be retained

If a customer does not show up for activity or is late by more than 15 minutes, a 100% Cancellation Fee will apply. If a trip is canceled by us, full refund is made. If weather conditions do not permit the trip to be held, a rescheduling will be arranged.
